Days @ SCMLD, Pune
This incident is one of the best incidents that had happened to the 2005-07 batch. This also shows MSPs out of the box punishments and killer blows unexpected by us :)
It was a sunny afternoon. With some of the guys playing around with their laptops at the back bench and few in the front snoring away to glory. The session was Corporate governance by Prof Jayant Oke. Prof Jayant Oke being one of the eminent professors also a cool & calm guy was going high with the case of Enron and was explaining that the future mangers and leaders should be ethical and should be truthful at all times.
Suddenly, a phone rang with some funny ringtone, Prof Jayant Oke requested that whomsoevers phone rang kindly raise the hand and accept the mistake. The class was in silence. No one raised the hand.
Some one from the 3rd row said Sir Bahar se awaaz aaya hoga. Prof Oke was not convinced and said in next 5 mins if the guy/girl whose mobile has rung doesnt stand up i will leave the class & never come back.
All guys looking at each other. Boss kiska baja ? Arey khade ho jaao yaar. Also 2 - 3 talented leaders took the responsibility to check the suspects who were always the scape goats :). But alas, couldnt be found.
Prof Oke walks off & heads towards MSPs office. Prof Oke explains the entire event to MSP. MSP calls the leaders of the class. Leaders explain MSP that there is a possibiilty of sound coming out side the class. MSP stands up.
MSP heads towards the class.
Kiska phone baja ? MSP shouts. No one replies.
Girls started convincing MSP that sound came from somewhere outside. Probably bhaiyas. MSP sends guys to check if any bhaiya was present there. Guys come back with NO.

Ajay sir arrives with a big smile :) MSP orders Ajay in sab ka mobile confiscate kar ke rakhna hai take all the mobiles with the sim cards and ensure that you dont give it back to them
MSP shouts at the class in front of Prof Oke In the class of corporate governance you cannot be truthful & honest. How can you serve a company ?
Bhaiyas are walking in the class bench to bench taking each and every cellphone ensuring sim is in and labelling them with the roll nos.
MSP shouts theek se check karo. If i find anyone tricking/fooling and try to leave the class with the mobile i will crush the mobile hereitself.
Cribbing and whining starts. Accusation & Crying as usual starts.
All the mobiles are labelled and put into the gunny bag and goes to ajay sirs office. It was 8 10 days when guys didnt have their cellphone and was a pain to all. Finally people apologized to Prof Oke, Prof Oke was very happy with the kind of decision MSP took and taught a lesson we guys.
Finally after lot of cribbing crying and pressure from home MSP asked Ajay to give back the phone.
But the blow was pretty much unexpected. Iron fist in leather gloves.
