The Rich Man and Lazerous- A different Thought



We have been hearing the story of Rich Man and Lazerous may be from our school days at Catechism. We know the story that the rich man didn't give any attention to the Poor Lazerous who was waiting at this doorstep. May be this is the reason that Heaven was closed for him. But looking deeper into this parable, we have few more dimensions rolling out

The rich man was wearing a RED dress. What does RED Symbolizes ? DANGER. Bible says that rich man was living in Danger and he was covering himself with danger. He was wearing soft clothes which symbolizes luxury.

But he was a good man. Why because he allowed Lazer to be at his doorstep. We normally do not allow any strangers to come near our house. Forget house, we don't even allow them to stay in the farmland too. But this Rich Man has allowed Lazer to lie down at his doorstep. This shows that there was a Strong Relationship between Lazerous and the Rich Man. Was it a Father - Son Relation. May be . Bible is Silent on this.

If we are not caring the needy on earth, our heavenly Father also will not care for  us in heaven. So it is very necessary that we look after the people who require our help on earth. It could be our Old Parents, whom we keep at our own doorsteps.

Your chance to Save your Soul and the time given for that are very limited. Need to act very fast. Open up your eyes and see the needy people around the world and open up your life, time for them. Because the Doors of Heaven will only be open to the one's who have cared others on earth.

Its all about Kids

I used to wonder when my kids ( 4 Year Old , 2 Year Old) play with my smart phone. They would have observed me working on the phone for couple of times and now it looks like they are experts on my phone. How fast are these children getting accustomed to new technologies. This also pointed me to another side of parenting. How fast are these kids picking up from what their parents do. I am sure mobile phones are completely a new entity for a kid. Unless he/she observes and learn, he will not be able to understand the device. Look at their observation power. They grab the thing so fast that even by 50 year old mother struggles for months to study about the same smart phone. How does all these happen ?
